Mountain world under the northern ridges of Begunjščica
Zelenica Mountain Hut / Doma na Zelenici is located on the saddle of Zelenica between the ridge Na Možeh, which marks the boundary between Slovenia and Austria, to the north and the wall of Begunščica to the south.
From here we can continue our journey towards Roblekov dom, climb Begunjščica, Vrtača and Stol, and there are other interesting tours in the surrounding area. Mountain meadow Zelenica opens into the Podljubelj valley to the east and the Završnica valley to the west.
Zelenica is a popular destination for hikers, mountaineers and touring skiers from Slovenia and beyond.

The Zelenica Educational Center (GUC Zelenica) operates in Planinski dom. The modern facility allows for the reception of larger groups, overnight stays and the preparation of hot meals, the implementation of various programs in a beautiful mountain environment and in the hut, as well as logistical and professional support in the implementation of specialized training and events in the field of mountaineering.

Opening hours:
- From 1.6. until 30.9. open every day,
- From 1.10. until 31.5. from Friday from 12:00 to Sunday until 16:00, and all holidays and vacations. We will also be open for groups on other days (by agreement)

- Beds in rooms - 70 (1 x 2-bed room, 2 x 3-bed room, 2 x 5-bed room, 1 x 6-bed room, 2 x 8-bed room, 1 x 9-bed room, 1 x 10-bed room, , 1 x 11-bed room),
additional emergency beds in case the cabin is occupied. - Dining room 70 seats
- Lecture room 35 seats (computer, digital projector, wifi)
